Within the program "Tirana European Youth Capital 2022" and "Tirana European City of Sport 2023", with the financial support of the National Youth Congress in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana, KROS TEYC 2022 will be organized on Saturday, March 25, 2023 , 10:00 - 12:00 at Tirana Lake National Park.
• The departure will be the Dam at the Tirana Lake National Park (near the Zoo), and will continue along the lake going up to the gym and the church. The cross country will end in the equipment/gym area near the Brigade Palace. The 2.5 km distance of the Krosi road will be surrounded by barrier strips with the support of the Municipality of Tirana. At the end, the winners will be announced (first, second, third place) and awarded with medals.
The National Youth Congress (NYC) is an umbrella organization of youth - a union of youth organizations, informal groups, youth forums of political parties, with the aim of exchanging information, highlighting youth issues, lobbying and advocacy for solving these issues and capacity building for all entities involved in the network. KRK was established in March 2013 in Tirana and has a membership of over 120 active youth organizations throughout the country. KRK's mission is to mobilize youth organizations and strengthen the role of young people in society so that they have a common voice to defend and lobby for issues that affect them.
The title "Tirana European Youth Capital 2022" (Tirana European Youth Capital 2022), which will be implemented during 2022 by the National Youth Congress in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana, has been granted to Tirana within the framework of the European Youth Capital initiative by the European Youth Forum. This program brings new opportunities, positive changes, encourages active participation, promotes European identity, diversity and inclusion, transforming the city into an international meeting point for young people.
