C-LPAM Health Standards

The minimum standard of living for children according to the ‘Children's Lifetime Physical Activity Model (C-LPAM)’ supports and develops:

- Activation frequency every day 3 (three) or more activations per day (are sufficient even with short duration, but repeated, of course calculating the daily volume of activity performed).

- Intensity of activation, moderate that alternates periods of physical activity with periods of rest, depending on the individual, or a moderate activation, such as walking or going to school by bicycle, etc.

Activation duration consisting of such time activation per day, which can be consumed at least 3-4 kilocalories per kilogram of body weight. This corresponds to a 30-minute dynamic game engagement, or an activity that lasts and is moderately coped and distributed in three or more sections per day.

The optimal standard of living for children according to the ‘Children's Lifetime Physical Activity Model (C-LPAM)’ a goal for all children:
- Frequency of activation
every day 3 (three) or more activation sessions per day (are sufficient even for short duration, but repeated, of course individually estimating the daily volume of activity performed).

- Activation intensity, moderate, which passes from the moderate level to the highest. In this case, the periods of activity alternate with periods of rest, depending on the individual, or according to an activation with moderate intensity, such as going to school by bicycle.

- Duration of activation consists of a physical engagement, per day, which allows to consume at least 6-8 kilocalories for each kilogram of body weight of the individual. This amount of energy required to be consumed corresponds to physical engagement lasting 60 minutes or more, accomplished through dynamic games or through an activity that lasts and is moderately coped with and distributed in three or more sections per day.

Promoting physical activity for youth - C-LPAM.pdf

The physical education program in the education system is based entirely on contemporary and scientific standards, which determine the minimum and maximum range of physical activity exercised by the individual, which results in reducing risk factors for health and improving it.

The Lifelong Physical Activity Model (C-LPAM) provides activity guidelines for young people. The guidelines suggest that young people should engage in at least 60 minutes or more of physical activity on a daily basis.
