European School Sport Day (ESSD) is an inclusive sport event promoting active lifestyle and health enhancing physical education inspired by the tradition of Hungarian School Sport Day.
The European School Sport Day has empowered 3 million European students to #BeActive in 44 countries so far.
The Day is part of the European Commission’s response to the alarming decline in sport and physical activity across all Member States.
With the support of school administration, anyone can organise a Day. This includes students, teachers, parents, civic leaders, and other stakeholders.
